Brazilian IndyCar Series Drivers to Make a "Pit Stop" at Xtreme Indoor Karting for the Inaugural GP BRAZIL 100
Brazilian IndyCar Series drivers and South Florida residents Tony Kanaan, Christian Fittipaldi, and Jaime Camara will make a guest appearance at the inaugural GP Brazil 100 on Sunday, March 18th starting at 12pm. Kanaan, Fittipaldi, and Camara will be there to visit with fans and promote XM SpeedJam at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where each will be racing on March 24.
The GP Brazil 100 will consist of 16 teams composed of local Brazilian residents who will compete against each other for one thing: victory! This exciting 100 lap karting event will take place at Xtreme Indoor Karting (www.xtremeindoorkarting.com) which is one of the fastest indoor karting facilities in the country. It is located at 5300 Powerline Road, Ft Lauderdale (954-491-6265). Spectators are welcome to come out, enjoy the karting race, listen to live Brazilian music, and taste authentic Brazilian food and drinks. Admission is just $5 at the door and includes a free $5 gaming card. Kids are welcome to attend this event free of charge.
The first 150 fan to purchase their tickets to XM SpeedJam during the GP Brazil 100 will even earn a spot in the VIP area for an exclusive meet and greet with Tony Kanaan, Christian Fittipaldi, and Jaime Camara. Tickets to the XM SpeedJam start at just $25 and includes admission to three races, a post race Brazilian Carnaval Show, a national barbecue competition, concerts all day, car shows, a carnival and more. The first 150 fans to purchase tickets to XM SpeedJam will In addition to the world-famous drivers, plenty of Brazilian celebrities will be on hand to take part in this event, including Univision actress and TV host Cherylin Silva, Marina D'Avila, the 2nd Princess in the Miss Brazil USA Pageant, and Natalia Moreira who was named Miss Brazil/Pompano Beach and Garota Sobre Rodas. There will also be Samba Mulatas, a live performance by Saxophonist Geraldo Sa, and musicians Italo Ayala and Fatima Giovanini.
The GP Brazil 100 will be televised to 106 countries around the world by RBTI (Channel 598 on Dish Network), and will also be broadcast live on Radio Brasil (www.radiobrasil.fm), the first Brazilian radio station in Florida. Over 2,000 people are expected to attend, including 64 kart drivers chasing glory!
